Derriann P. Charles is the Firm’s Principal Attorney, and is admitted to practice in Trinidad and Tobago and St. Christopher (St. Kitts) and Nevis.

Ms. Charles is a University of the West Indies alumni, having graduated from its St. Augustine Campus with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology (Hons) with a minor in Gender and Development Studies and its Cavehill Campus with a Bachelor of Laws Degree (Hons). Ms. Charles also read for a Master’s of Law in International Business Law (with Distinction) at the Robert Kennedy College in collaboration with the University of Cumbria.

She also specialises in corporate governance, compliance and corporate secretarial matters, having held and continuing to hold the position of Corporate Secretary for many companies.

Ms. Charles is also a Notary Public within the Federation of St. Christopher (St. Kitts) and Nevis.

Ms. Charles is also a member of the Bar Associations of St. Kitts and Nevis and Trinidad and Tobago.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Ms. Charles having been a national swimmer, enjoys swimming and watersports. Ms. Charles also loves to read and has recently taken up gardening as a pastime.
